Hugo’s Bazaar officially launched in 2023 as a curated home decor and gift shop, offering a thoughtfully selected range of whimsical, stylish, and unique pieces. But some of you might recognise the name from before — it first appeared as part of a beloved collection of dog toys and accessories sold in a popular West Bay shop. Since then, the Bazaar has grown into something much bigger. Today, our products are available online through our website and eBay store, with select ranges also stocked in person at Bayside, West Bay. All of our prints and greetings cards are hand-designed, printed, and lovingly packaged by us right here in Dorset, making every order feel a little more personal. Prints 

Our prints are printed in West Dorset on professional quality 280gsm satin photo paper. We currently use satin photo paper as the finish reduces glare when framed but still retains the rich sub-tones and longevity of a glossier finish. All our prints come in an A4 size which is 29.7 x 21.0cm (unless otherwise specified).

Please note that whilst we try to match the product as closely as possible to what you are seeing on screen there can be some slight variation due to differing screen sizes and types. 

Greetings Cards

Our greetings cards are printed on 300gsm Gloss paper. They have a beautiful shine both inside and out and the colours are as vibrant as our prints. Each card is designed, printed, folded and packaged by us right here in Dorset!

Click and collect is available from Bayside, 9 Station Road, West Bay, Dorset. Collection is available during their opening hours which is 10-4pm during Winter & 10-5 during the summer, 7 days a week. (On occasion during winter their opening times may differ slightly in bad weather). 

Once you’ve placed your order, we will endeavour to have it ready for you within 48 hours. You will receive an email when your order is ready to collect. 

Packaging:

All orders are carefully packed to ensure they reach you safely. A4 prints are packaged in rigid mailers, and additional items are placed in small, protective boxes or padded envelopes. We use eco-friendly materials whenever possible.

International Shipping & Customs:

For international orders, customs duties and taxes may apply depending on the destination country. These are the buyer’s responsibility. We will include the required customs declaration forms with your package.

Estimated Delivery Times:

• UK: 2-4 business days (tracked service)
• Europe: 5-7 business days (tracked service)
• USA/Canada: 6-10 business days (tracked service)

Lost or Damaged Parcels:

In the rare event your parcel is lost or damaged, please contact us. We will assist with claims for tracked services.

Refunds & Returns Policy

At Hugo’s Bazaar, we take great care in the creation and packaging of every order, and we hope you love your purchase. However, if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us as soon as possible at hugosbazaar@gmail.com if your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue quickly, including offering a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate. We may ask for photos of the damage to help us assess the problem.

Returns

As a small independent business, we do not accept returns for unwanted items. Returns are only accepted if an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, in accordance with your statutory rights. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order if you believe your item qualifies.

If your return is approved, we’ll provide you with the return address and instructions. Items sent back without prior contact and approval will not be accepted.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is confirmed as faulty or incorrect. Please ensure you obtain proof of postage for your return, as we cannot issue refunds for items that do not reach us.

Non-returnable Items

We do not accept returns on the following:

• Personalised or custom-made products

• Commissioned artwork

• Sale items

• Gift cards

• Free gifts or promotional items

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know if your refund is approved. If it is, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note, your bank or card provider may take a little longer to process it on their end.
